Olubunmi Agbaje, Son of Jimi Agbaje, to be Laid to Rest in Canada
Olubunmi Agbaje, the son of former Lagos state governorship aspirant Jimi Agbaje, is set to be laid to rest on Friday in Canada.
He passed away on Monday, May 27, 2024, at the age of 41.
Jimi Agbaje revealed part of the burial arrangements to NAN in Lagos on Wednesday via telephone.
He mentioned that the family would also hold a special memorial service for their late son in Lagos at a later date, following the burial in Canada.
Agbaje, while expressing his grief, shared that the family has entrusted the monumental loss to God in faith.
“His mother and I, indeed the entire extended family, cannot describe our pains. The shock is still there but in all, we give in to the will of God.
“We cannot question God, and we know HE alone will help us to heal with time.”
Olubunmi, affectionately known as “Funtime,” reportedly passed away due to cardiac arrest.
John Olubunmi Agbaje attended elementary school at Corona School Ikoyi and high school at Atlantic Hall, Lagos.
