Nollywood actor and pastor Yul Edochie has recently alleged that there are threats against his second wife, Judy Austin, and their children. He claims that certain individuals have plotted to harm Judy and their kids.
Yul and Judy welcomed their son, Star Munachimso, in November 2021. Yul publicly revealed Judy as his second wife in April 2022. This announcement followed his long-standing marriage to his first wife, May, with whom he has four children.
May was reportedly unhappy with Yul’s decision to marry Judy, especially since he paid Judy’s bride price without informing her. This led May to file for divorce in August 2023, though details of the proceedings have been kept private.
Following his announcement about Judy, Yul faced significant backlash on social media, gathering both critics and supporters. He and Judy have since become the subject of many online jokes, particularly on Facebook, where they share glimpses of their personal lives.
In a recent social media post, Yul claimed that a group of individuals created online platforms to harass his fans and associates. He stated that these people have gone as far as sharing his home address and threatening his family.
Yul has reported the threats to the police and is offering a one million naira reward for information leading to the arrest of those responsible. He urged anyone receiving threatening communications to record and forward the details to him to assist the police.
He called on his fans and the public to help in identifying the perpetrators to ensure they face legal consequences.
